Yes, Order Editing works with order management systems (OMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory platforms. We've confirmed compatibility with the systems listed below, and we can help coordinate setup with most others.
If your system isn't on the list, reach out to us in the live chat. We'll confirm compatibility and help you get set up.

ℹ️ System not listed? That doesn't mean it won't work. Most systems that pull orders after payment is captured are compatible with Order Editing. Reach out in the live chat and we'll confirm.
Connecting through a 3PL?
Many third-party logistics (3PL) providers run on one of the systems above. If that's you, the system here is what matters for compatibility, not the 3PL itself.
For more on working with a 3PL, see our dedicated 3PL guide. If your setup also involves an ERP or an integration platform (iPaaS), browse our Integrations collection for those guides too.
Getting set up
Setup varies by system. Sync timing, payment capture rules, and which edits are supported all depend on how your system connects to Shopify. You don't need to figure it out alone.
⚠️ Talk to us first: Reach out via the live chat before you go live or make changes. We'll recommend the right setup, coordinate with your system on configuration, and flag any limitations specific to your provider.
When you get in touch, let us know:
- Which inventory, warehouse, or order management system you use
- Any 3PL, ERP, or integration platform (iPaaS) sitting between Shopify and your system
- Whether your system pulls orders on payment, on hold release, on tag, or via Shopify Flow
We'll handle the rest, including reaching out to your provider's support team if needed.
Common questions
Will Order Editing cause stock discrepancies?
No. When configured correctly, your system imports the edited order, not the original. Stock, picking, and fulfilment all reflect the final order, so your counts stay accurate.
What if my system pulls orders the moment they're placed?
This is where delayed payment capture comes in. By holding payment until the editing window closes, your system only sees the order once edits are locked in.
Do I need to change anything on the system's side?
Sometimes. A few systems need a payment status filter set so they only import paid orders. We'll flag this when you reach out, and coordinate with your provider if needed.
What if my system isn't listed?
It may still work. Most inventory and warehouse systems that pull orders after payment is captured are compatible with Order Editing. Start a live chat and we'll confirm compatibility with your system directly.
