Same-day shipping cutoff
Use this when orders close to your same-day fulfillment cutoff should not be editable.
Conditions
- Shipping method contains Same Day, Express, or Local Delivery
- Order created during your same-day cutoff window
Editing timeline
- Immediate block, or a short custom deadline
Customer message
This order is being prepared for same-day fulfillment, so editing is no longer available.
Overnight editing extension
Use this when orders placed after the warehouse closes will not be fulfilled until the next morning.
Conditions
- Order created after warehouse close
- Optional: exclude express or same-day shipping methods
Editing timeline
- Scheduled deadline for the next morning
Customer message
Your order was placed after our warehouse closed. You can make changes until fulfillment starts tomorrow morning.
Weekend order extension
Use this when your warehouse does not operate on weekends.
Conditions
- Order created Friday evening, Saturday, or Sunday
Editing timeline
- Scheduled deadline for Monday morning
Customer message
Weekend orders can be edited until our warehouse reopens on Monday morning.
Express shipping short window
Use this when express orders need to move into fulfillment quickly.
Conditions
- Shipping method contains Express, Overnight, or 2-Day
Editing timeline
- Custom deadline, such as 10 minutes after order creation
Customer message
Express orders move into fulfillment quickly, so editing is only available for a short time.
Gift card or fraud-sensitive orders
Use this when certain products should not be edited by customers.
Conditions
- Product title, product tag, or SKU matches gift card or another restricted product

- Immediate block

This order contains items that cannot be edited online. Please contact support if you need help.
Staff-only testing
Use this while setting up Order Editing before launching to customers.
Conditions
- Staff order condition, staff email, or customer email/domain condition

B2B company-specific rule
Use this when different B2B companies or company locations need different editing rules.
Conditions
- B2B order is true
- Company name or company location matches the customer account

- Default deadline, scheduled deadline, or custom deadline depending on the account agreement

Pickup orders
Use this when pickup orders should have restricted editing options.
