Before You Go Live

Run through this checklist before switching Order Editing from Draft Mode to Live Mode. Each item should be ticked off before your customers start seeing the Order Editing extension.

Tip: Your onboarding specialist works through this checklist with you on your complimentary onboarding call and switches you live when everything looks right. Haven't booked yet? See Installing Order Editing on Your Store.

Go Live

Everything ticked? Here's how to switch Order Editing on for your customers:

  1. In the Order Editing app, open Settings.
  2. Find App Visibility.
  3. Switch from Draft Mode to Live Mode.
  4. Confirm the change.

Success: Order Editing is now live. All new orders from your customers will include the editing window.

After Going Live

Place a real order, or have a colleague do it, to confirm the experience looks right in Live Mode. The Order Editing extension should appear for all customers, not just staff.

Check the Order Editing Home page over the next few days. You'll see editing activity, payment captures, and any errors flagged in the timeline.

If anything isn't working as expected, contact Order Editing support from within the app. Include your store URL and a description of what you're seeing.
